GOURDS AND BASKETS
After many years of teaching off-loom weaving, Mary gradually changed to natural basketry and then to basketry on gourds. Her pleasure comes for the use of natural materials grown in California such as sea shells, beads and driftwood collected over the years. Her present work combines gourds with coiled Big Bear Jeffery pine needles.RECENT WORKS
