The Arts Council Of Big Bear Valley is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to ensure that the arts, once again, are given a place of enrichment in our lives and the lives of our youth.
While art and music have been appreciated by every generation, there has been an often unspoken assumption that they were nonessential, even a frill. We believe that an art-infused education is critical to producing a generation of leaders. We believe that through the arts, we can express, enjoy and experience cultural diversity.
Our members help us to:
Augment art and music education in local schools.
Provide an opportunity for artists to show their work and advance their careers.
Purchase musical instruments for students.
Showcase exhibits at the Gallery.
Expose students to live theater.
Bring culturally enriching programs to our valley.
